The Story

About the EP

Still Self-Made is the new EP from Grammy-nominated executive producer, film director, and entertainment consultant Super Producer Self — Edward Hinson. This project is a full showcase of his executive production craft: every track produced, mixed, arranged, and edited entirely by Self.

The sound is smooth but with an edge. R&B at the core — layered with radio-ready hip-hop, pop influence, and rock undertones. Not hardcore. Not commercial. Something in between — cinematic, soulful, and undeniably Self.

This EP is the statement: "I'm Still Him." Thirty years in the game. 25+ platinum records. Grammy nomination. Shade 45. And still creating at the highest level — independently, on his own terms.
